As our half term holidays draw to a close we have enjoyed some lovely days crafting, sharing books, creating stories and poems and feasting. Here are some of our highlights:)
On a damp, cool Autumn day we snuggled together to read some of Shirley Hughes Autumn poems taken from one of our favourite books; “Out and About A First Book of Poems” (ISBN 978-1-4063-7242-7). Today the boys wrote stories on some lantern paper which we then stuck around a jar. We made a simple handle from raffia and placed a candle inside to display their beautiful stories. I
“Thanking the Moon” by Grace Lin (ISBN 978-0375861017) continues to be a favourite book, particularly for A who enjoys it any time of the year.
