We made our own spice paints at the Cambridge University Botanic Gardens. The boys selected their spice from a range which included paprika, ginger, cinnamon and mixed it with some water and a drop of pva glue (to aid the drying process).
There were some outlines to colour and blank paper to experiment on. The paint had some lovely natural tones and the room smelt delightful! It was also lovely to see how their skills and ideas had changed since we last painted with spice.
A loved the ginger paint, partly because of its golden colour. Here is another dragon painting!
