Polar Storytime and Play

July 26, 2017 by zuzuart Leave a Comment

We spent a lovely morning at the Polar Museum in Cambridge. We listened to the story “A Symphony of Whales” by S Schuch (ISBN 978-0152165482) .

We then got to explore a narwhal’s tusk.

It was enormous!

The boys made their own narwhal tusks by cutting paper and rolling it into a cone. They twisted a thread around the outside to look like the twirling tusk and secured on some ribbon to hold it on their heads.

I wonder which underwater story we shall explore next?
