Exploring the museums in Cambridge during ‘twilight’ is a favourite February activity of ours. Packed with our torches, a flask of hot chocolate and our winter coats we are ready for three hours of fun! This year we chose to start our adventure at The Sedgwick Museum of Earth Sciences. The dinosaur skeletons and fossils looked amazing all lit up.
After a refuel of churros and chocolate sauce our next stop was The Fitzwilliam Museum. We enjoyed some live music and used our torches to uncover the delights in the galleries.
Our final stop was The Botanic Gardens. Full of hot chocolate we found out about rare and endangered plants around the world as we collected stamps through the glasshouses.
A great time – we are already looking forward to next year.
